The course covers: what a database is in terms of tables, records and fields; how to specify fields with data types and field property settings; how to set a field as a primary key, switch between view modes and navigate between records in a table, query or form; how to sort records in ascending or descending order and how to add or delete records in a table. How to apply or remove a filter to a table or form will also be covered, along with how to create and edit queries and reports. This is part 2 of a 2 part course which may help staff prepare for ICDL Database module.
