Queen’s Sport is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025/26 Elite Athlete Programme, the pinnacle of scholarship support for student-athletes pursuing excellence in both sport and academia.

The Elite Athlete Programme is designed for high-performance athletes striving to compete at the highest levels of their sport while achieving a world-class education. As an ASAS-accredited institution, Queen’s Sport offers tailored performance services to support athletes in reaching their full potential.

Athletes accepted into the programme will benefit from:

• Personalised coaching
• Advanced performance skills development
• Comprehensive athletic training
• Physiotherapy and medical support
• Expert performance nutrition guidance
• Academic flexibility to balance sporting commitments
• High-quality clothing and equipment
• Stipends of up to £5,000 to assist with their athletic journey

Unsuccessful applicants for the Elite Athlete Programme will automatically be considered for scholarships within one of Queen’s six sporting academies under Level 2 of the Athlete Pathway.
