Queen’s University Blues Awards 2020
It may not have had all the glitz and the glam of a 'Blues Awards' night held in the Whitla Hall, but this year's unique online event proved to be a great success. The Queen's University Belfast Deep RiverRock Blues Awards 2020 was produced and hosted by Queen's staff and included key Guest Speaker High Performance expert Gary Keegan.
The 'Blues' is the Queen’s University Sports Awards ceremony, during which we have the opportunity to review the sporting year. Each academic year is a rich and unique celebration of our students’ sporting journeys and achievements of the previous twelve months. A difficult year which was curtailed by the global health crisis meant many sporting seasons had yet to reach their zenith – but the list of achievements is none the less impressive by our athletes and teams.
