COVID-19 (Coronavirus): Closure Notice...

To all Queen’s Sport members and visitors;

 As a University, we recognise that this is an anxious time for many within our community and I know that many of you are worried about the COVID-19 pandemic.

As always, the health of our students, staff and wider community is the University's main priority and, following a meeting of the Major Incident Team, a number of key decisions have been made in order to help assist in the wider effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). This includes the closure of all Queen’s Sport facilities including the PEC, Upper Malone, Stranmillis Boathouse, Mourne Cottage and BT1 Gym until further notice.

Please visit our social media and website for regular updates

We would ask our members and visitors to our facilities to be mindful of current COVID-19 (coronavirus) prevention guidelines and advice that is available from the Public Health Agency online: and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)

 You may also find the FAQs page that has been published for students and staff useful:

 We would like to assure you that we will continue to comply with official guidance and take all appropriate steps to help prevent the spread of the virus – prioritising the health and wellbeing of our staff, students and wider community in all of our decision making.

Thank you

Queen’s Sport
