Queen's Sport has someone for everyone. Fight Klub, Core Workout, Bootcamp, Step 2 It, Kick Aerobics and Kettle Bells are just some of the household names we offer.

New to Queen's Sport this winter is ZUMBA. This class fuses aerobic, conditioning and dance training exercises to a mixture of Latin and International music. This is an exciting, high energy class which is suitable for all fitness levels. You will have so much fun, you won't believe it's a workout!

Descriptions

Abs of Steel does exactly what is says on the tin! This is an intense 30 minute workout focusing on the entire mid-section, strengthening the inner core muscles and the lower back, helping your get that most sought after Abs of Steel. A 30 minute workout not to be missed!

Aqua Jog is a water-based class that will improve your aerobic fitness and endurance, giving you an overall enhanced non weight bearing workout.

Body Flex is a combination class incorporating Yoga, Pilates and Core Stability. It will improve overall flexibility and core strength while leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

Bodytone is a progressive class, which is considered a step up, from Bums & Tums. Using resistance and stretching exercises for precision firming and muscle conditioning, it provides an intense, non-cardio workout that targets all the major muscle groups.

Bootcamp is a challenging class that focuses on key aspects of core and cardiovascular fitness delivered with military precision and planning. This is the ultimate fitness circuit experience in Belfast!

Bums & Tums will help you sort out those problem areas through a variety of resistance based, equipment-free exercises.

Circuit Training offers a muscular endurance and aerobic fitness workout like no other! Delivered by the best instructors in the business!

Core ‘n’ Crunch is a general core conditioning workout involving a mixture of abdominal exercises to tone and trim the mid-section. Training on the abs, back and all other functional areas will create a firmer, toned and stronger abdominal region.

Core Workout is a class involving a mixture of core training and various other exercises. Unlike traditional core classes this session will really make you sweat whilst training your abs, back and all other functional areas. A 45 minute workout not to be missed!

Family Fun Swim is a fun packed water session especially for the family, these sessions involves free time to splash and play around.

FunXtion is an exciting fitness class using functional training equipment from ropes and medicine balls to TRX.  This class combines muscular endurance and aerobic exercises that will truly push your body to the limit.  Delivered by our expert staff from Degrees, this class is a sure fire way to blast away those calories!

HIFM (High Intensity Functional Movement) is circuit based class providing the ultimate in core strengh and conditioning!

Indoor Cycling is an instructor-led group class, which is set to music using specialized bikes. The instructor will take you through a series of flat sections climbs and sprints. As one of our instructor’s encourages – put on more resistance!

Indoor Cycling Endurance similar to our Indoor Cycling but the emphasis is on cardiovascular improvement. Be prepared to for a long ride!

Insanity X is a class based on traditional interval training turned on its head.  You will perform long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises with short periods of rest.  Each workout keeps you constantly challenged as you alternate between aerobic and anaerobic intervals performed at your MAX.  Plyometric drills on top of nonstop intervals of strengh, power, resistance, ab and core training moves will have you working like you have never worked before.  You would be insane to miss this class!

Kettle Bell Workout is the best body conditioning class in the world. Used by top athletes and celebrities such as Amir Khan, Matthew McConaughey and Madonna this class involves toning, fat loss and muscle defining exercises.

Kick Aerobics combines traditional Martial Arts and Boxing techniques with the latest aerobic fitness methods and a high-energy soundtrack. You’ll get a real kick from this accelerating workout!

Step 2 It is a choreographed class involving different aerobic stepping movements; it is a great toning and trimming workout for those trouble areas.

Super Sculpt is a conditioning based class using various weights and other pieces of resistance equipment. This class will improve muscular endurance and definition while burning calories and shedding body fat.

Zumba fuses aerobic, conditioning and dance training exercises to a mixture of Latin and International music. This is an exciting, high energy class which is suitable for all fitness levels. 50/50 is a combination of Indoor Cycling, Core Workout and Circuits to give you a well balanced work out.

Further Class Information

  • Members may book classes 8 days in advance; it is Queen's Sport policy that all Members book prior to the class commencing
  • It is Queen's Sport policy that all Members who wish to cancel a class booking must give at least1 hours notice. Members who breach this policy may have their booking privileges restricted
  • Members can book classes online 8 days in advance
  • Guests cannot book in advance. If a space is available before the class commences, Guests may book in
  • Members and Guests not booked prior to a class commencing cannot be guaranteed a place
  • Classes with poor levels of attendance maybe removed from the programme
  • All classes must have at least four Members in attendance to operate. Instructors reserve the right to cancel a class with less than four Members during the warm up component
  • Please ensure the appropriate attire is worn to classes. Please check with instructors for further details
  • The programme may be amended during public holiday periods
